How do I register for events?
Start by browsing the Events page on our website—this is where you can view upcoming adventures and purchase tickets (which serve as your registration).
We offer a variety of local experiences, including mini adventures, Stroller Workouts, overnight camping trips, and our signature Adventure Mama 101 course.
Your first adventure is free—come try it out!
After that, you can choose between our super affordable monthly membership or continue with drop-in passes as it fits your schedule.
Do I really need to sign the waiver?
Yes—everyone will be prompted to accept the e-waiver before joining their first event. You are agreeing to
- You’re participating voluntarily and will listen to your body’s limits.
- You acknowledge the risks of outdoor activities and take full responsibility for your safety and your child’s.
- You agree not to hold Mama & Me Adventure Club – Maple Valley or our volunteers liable for any injuries or issues.
- You give permission to use event photos and videos—with kids’ faces blurred if shared outside the group.
- You agree to our community rules: be kind, respectful, reliable, and inclusive.
What’s your sick policy?
Since our events are outdoors, the risk of transmission is lower. A little clear runny nose is okay, but please keep kiddos home if they’ve had these symptoms in the past 24 hours:
- Fever (any grade)
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Persistent or barking cough
-Obvious contagious illnesses (like pink eye, lice, hand-foot-mouth)
Please use your best judgment. We care about keeping everyone safe and understand that fresh air is often part of the healing process!
When can I join again after having a baby?
Always check with your doctor or healthcare provider before returning to any physical activity after giving birth.
In general, those who had a healthy pregnancy and vaginal delivery may be cleared for light movement—like gentle walks—as soon as they feel ready. If you had a cesarean or any complications, your doctor will help guide the right timeline for your recovery.
We typically recommend starting with stroller walks or casual playdates and then gradually easing into workouts or hikes around 6 weeks postpartum, if your provider agrees.
Always listen to your body & take it at your own pace.
